Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dev Net Technologies LLC, doing business as Dial Pipes ("Dial Pipes", "we", "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information in connection with our website and the Dial Pipes app for Pipedrive (the "Service"). The Service connects a company's Phone.com account to its Pipedrive account. Each company that installs the Service is a "Customer". Use of Phone.com and Pipedrive is governed by those providers' own privacy policies.
1. Our role
Dial Pipes is the controller of personal information collected through our website, beta access requests and other inquiries. For personal information processed through the Service on behalf of a Customer ("Customer Data"), including call information, the Customer is responsible for that information and Dial Pipes processes it on the Customer's behalf. We process Customer Data only to provide the Service and only on the Customer's instructions, including the settings the Customer chooses in the Service. Individuals whose information is processed on behalf of a Customer should direct requests to that Customer.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Beta access requests and inquiries
When you request beta access or contact us, we collect the information you provide: your name, work email address, company name, phone number (optional), team size, current phone system and CRM, and any message you send. To protect the request form from abuse, we also process a pseudonymized form of your IP address.
2.2 Account and configuration information
When a Customer installs the Service, we collect the Pipedrive company and user identifiers, the names and email addresses of users who sign in, Phone.com account and extension details, the settings chosen by the Customer and its users, and a record of the acceptance of our Terms of Service. We also hold the credentials needed to connect to Pipedrive and Phone.com on the Customer's behalf.
2.3 Call information
For calls made or received through the Customer's Phone.com account, we process the phone numbers of the parties, the date, time, direction and duration of the call, the call outcome, the user who handled the call, and the Pipedrive records the call is linked to, in order to log the call in Pipedrive. If the Customer turns on text message logging, we process text messages in order to add them to Pipedrive.
2.4 Call notes
Notes that a user enters in the Dial Pipes call window are saved to Pipedrive. Until a note is saved, we retain it as a draft.
2.5 Recordings, transcripts and summaries
Where the Customer's Phone.com plan records calls or takes voicemail, we receive the recording from Phone.com and transmit it to the Customer's Pipedrive account. If the Customer turns on AI features, the recording is also processed by Microsoft Azure AI services (Azure AI Speech and Azure OpenAI) to generate a transcript and a summary, which we deliver to Pipedrive as a note. No other AI provider is used. Transcripts and summaries are generated automatically and are not used to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
2.6 Website
Our website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising tags or similar tracking technologies. Our hosting provider processes technical information, such as IP addresses, as necessary to deliver the website securely.
3. How we use information and our legal bases
We use personal information to:
- provide, maintain and secure the Service, including logging calls, delivering recordings and creating notes in Pipedrive, in performance of our contract with the Customer;
- consider and respond to beta access requests and inquiries, based on our legitimate interest in operating the beta;
- provide support, troubleshoot problems and prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable service; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use Customer Data, including recordings, transcripts and summaries, for any purpose other than providing the Service, including training AI models.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as follows:
- Service providers. Microsoft Corporation (Azure) hosts the Service and stores data in the United States, and provides the AI services used for transcripts and summaries. Microsoft processes personal information on our behalf under written terms and may retain AI inputs and outputs for a limited period for abuse monitoring in accordance with its terms for Azure OpenAI. We also use providers for domain name and email services.
- Phone.com and Pipedrive. We exchange information with the Customer's own Phone.com and Pipedrive accounts as necessary to provide the Service.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of Dial Pipes, our Customers or others.
- Business transfers. If Dev Net Technologies LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
5. How long we keep information
Call information is kept only as long as needed to log calls in Pipedrive and to retry a failed delivery, and in any case for no more than 36 hours.
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Recordings and text message content | Not retained; transmitted directly to the Customer's Pipedrive account. |
| Transcripts and summaries | Summaries are not retained. A transcript is retained only if its delivery to Pipedrive fails, so that delivery can be retried, and for no more than 36 hours. |
| Call information and service event records | No more than 36 hours. |
| Unsaved call note drafts | Until saved or discarded, and no more than 36 hours. |
| Account and configuration information | For as long as the Customer uses the Service. Connection credentials and users' names, email addresses and personal phone numbers are deleted when the Service is uninstalled. |
| Service logs | 30 days. Service logs do not contain call content or phone numbers. |
| Beta requests | 90 days in the Service. The copy emailed to our sales team is kept until we delete it. |
| Inquiries | Until we delete them. |
| Pseudonymized IP addresses from the request form | 1 day. |
6. Security
We protect personal information with encryption in transit and at rest, and the credentials used to connect to Phone.com and Pipedrive are stored in encrypted form. Access is limited to personnel and systems that require it to operate the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Where we operate
We process and store personal information in the United States. The Service is not offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or to others who are not eligible under our Terms of Service.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@dialpipes.com. You may also use an authorized agent. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Additional information for US residents
In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email address, phone number and pseudonymized IP address); professional information (such as company and team details); and, as a service provider to Customers, audio and electronic information (call recordings and text messages, which are transmitted but not retained). We collect this information for the purposes described in Section 3 disclose it only as described in Section 4, and retain it for the periods described in Section 5. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals.
10. Children
